Help Wanted: Bicycle Rodeo

E-mail Print PDF

It's hard to believe, but our fall Pack activities are fast approaching.  One of the first is the Bicycle Rodeo.

The Bicycle Rodeo is open to all children in the community, and it's a great opportunity for Cub Scouts to meet new people, make new friends, and of course earn belt loops and activity pins!

We will have several stations and need all the help we can get.  The list is not finalized, but here are some of the stations:

  • Bicycle Safety Inspection
  • Obstacle Course
  • Helmet Safety Check
  • Bicycle Rules of the Road
  • First Aid
  • Registration

The final date has not been set yet.

Stu Nelson is heading up the Bicycle Rodeo this year, so please contact him if you can help.

June Summer Movie Night!

E-mail Print PDF

Our first Summer Movie Night is upon us!

It will be on Tuesday June 24th at St. John's school on the field.

The catch: THE LOWER PARKING LOT IS COMPLETELY CLOSED OFF DUE TO CONSTRUCTION.  Please park on the side of the gym or in the upper parking lot.

The movie will start about 8:00PM, but feel free to come early and the kids can play catch or chase on the field.

Bring your own snacks, blankets, chairs and (definintely!) bug spray.

Also, please watch the weather...if we have rain we will postpone.

Our second Movie night will be July 10

Oh yeah... one last thing.  The movie we'll be showing is The Lego Movie!

Becoming a Leader

The Pack is always in need of parents or guardians as leaders.  Please speak to the Cubmaster, an Assistant Cubmaster, or Pack Committee Member about how you'd like to help.  We have positions for Den and Assistant Den Leaders, Assistant Cubmasters, Committee Members, and other various one-off events like the Blue & Gold banquet and camping trips.  All leaders must complete Youth Protection Training.
